Innovative traffic solutions
for greener, thriving cities

Tobias Gustavsson Binder

Tobias is an expert on the transport sector's climate transition at IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute.

He will present insights from studies about European cities that already shift towards sustainable and zero emission mobility. In the report To make a Ghent he describes how the four cities of Ghent, Birmingham, Leuven and Brussels have implemented innovative traffic solutions for greener, thriving cities. He presents seven lessons that other cities can build upon in their own transition.

Leading in a Complex World – The Key to Industrial Symbiosis

Helena Tinnert

Helena Tinnert is the CEO and founder of Good Growth, leading, developing, and transforming organizations to meet evolving global demands.

Helena connects learning mindset with the broader concept of industrial symbiosis, which involves collaboration between industries for mutual benefit and reduced environmental impact. It emphasizes how the change within individuals, especially leaders, can catalyze systemic shifts toward sustainability.

Gustav Magnusson

Gustav has led foresight research to identify critical knowledge gaps in the built environment that must be addressed to meet global development goals, and presented them in his book his book Keynote Conversations.

In this lecture, he distils six key insights and explores how we move beyond current attitudes of change to a future where relational intelligence, the ability to navigate uncertainty, and sustainability as a foundation for quality of life empower us all to take part in shaping our cities and societies.

Linda Runarsdottir

Linda Runarsdottir is a designer focused on upcycling design. At her studio, Gotland Garbage, plastic waste and other materials are transformed into new, exclusive products. By giving new life to items that others often perceive as trash, she gives them a second chance and an extended lifespan.

She will showcase how she repurposes plastic waste and how old children's toys and ice cream packaging are turned into interior design products and sought-after jewelry—each piece handmade and unique in appearance.
